Describe how disciplinary issues are handled and the general philosophy on discipline.
The school expects that all students will adhere to the school’s values of Respect, Responsibility, and Reach. When students fail to adhere to these values, they receive consequences from their teacher, another adult supervisor, or a school administrator. The school also expects that parents will support the school’s attempts to provide an orderly and productive school environment. Together we can meet the mission of our school. For more information about the school’s values and disciplinary system, please see the Student Handbook.
How do you handle the standardized state tests? Are these administered just as they are in the local public schools?
We work hard to prepare students for the state mandated Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (LEAP) tests. We utilize the state’s curriculum, and we benchmark our program according to the state’s Grade Level Expectations.
